Invar is a nickel iron composite alloy used for precision leveling rods for its minimal expansion properties. With precision in mind, this material allows the bipod to remain in place on uneven, slippery and, of course, hard terrain. The Seco bipod has an aluminum frame making them lightweight and easy to carry.
